New Math Standards Set by the State of Texas
Set by the State of Texas
The State of Texas has adopted new math standards to take effect in the 2014-2015 school year for grades K-8 and 2015-2016 for high school. Many of the grades are seeing a 25-50% change in the standards they are taught with most of the standards coming from an above grade level. See the breakdown below for more specific information. The teachers and students of CISD are working very hard to make sure that the students are successful amidst all of the new changes.
