Community Survey and Forum for New Superintendent
Interim Superintendent Announced
The Clarendon CISD School Board has started the process of searching for a new superintendent to lead the district. The first step was naming John Lemons to be the interim superintendent beginning January 1, 2015. Mr. Lemons will be assisting the School Board with their search as well as temporarily fulfilling the duties of the superintendent.
In order for the board to effectively determine the best fit for a new superintendent, the community is invited to complete a survey and/or to attend a community forum. The community response is crucial to the process and will aid in finding a school leader who will best serve our district and community.
The purpose of the survey is to determine the qualities and characteristics the community feels is important on a personal and professional level. The board wants to receive feedback on areas the community believes are strengths for our district and how a new superintendent can add value to the school and community.
A community forum is scheduled for Monday, December 8 at 6:30 pm in the Video Conference Room of the Administration building. All members of the community are invited to attend.
