Junior High Competes in District Track Meet
The seventh grade Colts finished second to Memphis in the District track meet held in Wellington last week with 138 points. The eighth grade Colts were second to Wellington with 116 points. The seventh grade Lady Colts were second also with 144 points behind Wellington and the eight grade Lady Colts were competing with a limited number of girls and finished fifth with 30 points.
The 7th grade Colts mile relay finished first with a time of 4:20.12 and was run by Bryce Hatley, Caleb Cobb, Bailey Atha, and Romello Smith. The eighth grade 400-meter relay was first with a time of 53.53 and was run by Cedrick McCampbell, Charles Mason, Lee Buckhaults, and Joseph Jaramillo.
The 7th grade Lady Colt 400-meter relay took first place with a time of 58.72 and was run by Tessa Buckhaults, Brown, Robinson, and Weatherton.
