NHS Inducts New Members

The National Honor Society of CHS inducted its new members last week for the upcoming school year. To be considered the students must be a junior or senior with an overall average of 90. They must also take some Pre-AP, AP, or dual-credit classes to show academic rigor. Those who meet both of these requirements submit an application detailing their involvement in both the school and the community showing their service and leadership. The high school teachers are also asked to evaluate each candidate on their character, leadership, service, and scholarship. The NHS committee uses the results from teachers and students as they consider their vote on each candidate.

The new inductees are Jentrye Bellar, Graci Kidd, Josiah Howard, and Natalie Monds.
