FFA News and Updates from Mr. Pigg:
The Area Livestock Contest is extremely competitive, right now our Livestock Judging Team (Levi Gates, Harrison Howard, Grant Haynes, Jared Musick) are ranked #1. They will compete at Area this weekend at Texas Tech. We have a chance to win our Area. "Clarendon was 2nd at state 12 years ago, and I feel this team is better than that team 12 years ago." Mr. Pigg Clarendon CISD Ag Teacher. They will go to a practice contest at Tech next weekend for Area 1& Area 2 (New Home is ranked 1 in Area 2) qualifiers. The state competition will be on April 27th.
The Plant ID team will compete at the State Contest on April 20th. Wes Shaw a great chance to win the State Plant ID competition.

Wes Shaw was High Point Individual @ 3 Invitational Contest in Plant ID @West Texas A&M, Clarendon College, and Angelo State. He won High Individual in Range @ the Salt Fork Invitational also. He’s been undefeated at 4 out of 5 contests.
The Plant ID Team was 4th @ WT, 5th @ Clarendon College, and 7th @ Angelo State
Range Team was 2nd at the Salt Fork Invo & 8th @ Area
